This is a spectacular winery that checks all the boxes: amazing estate grown wines by Sean Capiaux, gorgeous architecture by Signum (Juancarlos Fernandez) along with incredible views-all of this only a short drive from Napa. The staff is knowledgeable and welcoming. Betty Woolls’ vast experience as founder of the successful O’Shaugnessy Winery, combined with the passion of her husband, Paul Woolls, makes for a very strong partnership- they clearly know what it takes to create an outstanding Napa Valley experience.

If you can get a reservation for the Estate Wine and Food pairing you are in for a true treat. The estate chef is John Gerber, trained at Michelin starred restaurants around the world, including in Barcelona and the French Laundry. The three course lunch paired with the estate wines, is incredible. I think for $175 its a better deal than a meal at French Laundry and just as good, if not better.
